There’s a new theory in town; that drinking cow milk is unnatural……I know right? What the hell!!! But apparently, a very hardcore vegan physician and author who goes by the name of Dr. Michael Greger, is pointing to a number of reasons that show why milk substitutes might be better than milk. Stuff such as Almond milk, soygurt and fermented cashew cheese is becoming popular because of their superior nutritional value with the minimal fat percentage.
According to these anti-dairy people, drinking cow milk is not natural and a little strange with lots of side effects. “Lots of things are unnatural, but we should look deeper if we’re doing something that’s a little strange, to make sure it doesn’t cause negative effects,” says Dr. Michael Greger. He says that the fact that something is labelled as unnatural doesn’t necessarily mean that it must be bad. “Wearing shoes is unnatural,” he says.

Cutting out milk could reduce your risk of prostate cancer:
Research shows that drinking milk increases the risk of prostate cancer which is the most common type of cancer in men. This may be due to the fact that milk has high levels of hormones in its formulation that help calves get bigger. The same hormone has been found to be a stimulant for cancerous cells and tumours.
“Drinking milk boosts IGF-1, a cancer-promoting growth hormone,” Dr. Greger says. “It’s a bioactive growth fluid that does what it is designed to do: put a few hundred pounds on a calf. So maybe we shouldn’t be surprised that drinking milk from a massive species has these effects on our own bodies.”
On the other hand, almond milk doesn’t go worse at the rate of milk suppresses the growth of cancer cells by as much as 30 percent!
