A good way to exercise analytical thinking is to try riddles. They make us think out of the box and in that process, exercise those parts of our brain that we don’t use during our natural thought process. They can be asked in the form of a question, a phrase or a statement.

They help us realize that things are not what they seem to be. Here we present to you guys 10 different riddles that will make you think twice.

Q: In a one-story yellow house, there was a yellow person, a yellow cat, a yellow dog, a yellow chair, a yellow table, a yellow telephone, a yellow bathtub—everything was yellow! What color were the stairs?

A: since the house was one-storey, there were no stairs.
