Bullies Label Woman ‘1950s Housewife Slave’ For Making Lunch For Husband So She Claps Back
I find unwarranted feminism really annoying. Women will jump at any chance to prove their equality to men, forgetting in the whole fiasco that human beings exist on a system of mutual support and love. And love means caring for the other person more than anything. Then why cant people accept that love exists between a man and his wife?
Listen to this; Maddie is a mother and a wife who posted a question online regarding ideas for her man’s lunch. People went all feminist on her.
She had no idea that she would be attacked by a barrage of other women for her small act of love and trying to spice up her lunch-making life.
North Shore Mums is a Facebook page; it is a closed group with more than 26,000 members. She posted her question in this group, thinking that women can understand other women better.
“I would love to hear what other mums make their hubbies for lunch and snacks throughout the workday. We are getting over sandwiches,” she wrote according to the Daily Telegraph.
She expected to get a few recipes, not be called “weird,” a “slave” or “1950s housewife,” which is what Daily Mail claims was posted in the group.
People said that her husband should be able to make his own lunch.
“Our advice is to stop making his lunches,” said someone.
“I was married for twenty years and my favourite packed lunch for my husband was called a ‘Get it Yourself with a side order of I’m not your mother,’” said someone else.
“He was a grown single self-sufficient independent man before we met… why does he get lucky (aka get a slave) and I don’t?!?! It’s enough with our children, don’t need another child, need a husband!” said one hyped-up woman.
